BALI / INDONESIA
24th – 25th February 2016
Hello surfers and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views from right here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
Ok peeps here’s a quick photo gallery that Ketut snapped off up the coast yesterday here on Bali’s West Coast. The boys hit the road long before sun rise and pulled into the car park right on 7.00AM to find some perfect little chest to slightly over head high waves peeling off for a good 100trs+. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind coperating out of the North, blowing straight off shore. The other main factor was that there were no other surfers in the line up and our crew got to take turns just by themselves for the next 2 hours. But as the tide filled in and the rocks out of sight the number jacked up into the high 20’s.
Weather wise it was hot and sunny up the coast through until midday and then the heavens opened up and bucketed down, making the drive home a long and slow trip.
Today the 25th and we decided on taking a run over to the East Coast this morning. Nb, my place is situated perfect for heading off chasing waves in any direction without having to drive through hard traffic. There were already around 10 surfers in the water when we arrived at our destination with clean and glassy surfing conditions. Wave height was in the 3-4ft range with a few double head high sets rocking through as the tide poured in. With the tide also came the surfers and by 10.30AM there might have been 100 surfers scattered over the 3 main sections / 800yrds.
Weather wise out there today it’s been brutally hot, especially behind the lens with no roof over head. Right now at 4.20PM the temperature is still a warm 35 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 72%. Wind direction is and has been out of the SW since 10.45AM, now at 7knot. There is still plenty of blue sky above us here in Tuban.
Ok friends that’s me for now so have a good one what ever you’ve got on and make sure you tune in again tomorrow to see what’s going down surf wise here in Bali.
