BALI / INDONESIA
6th -7th February 2016
Hi folks and welcome back to your baliwaves (The one and only baliwaves since 1999) for our Sunday Session on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Here’s a look at what the waves were like here on Bali’s West Coast yesterday morning. Wave height at this ever popular location was mainly in the waist to chest high class with a few head high bigger freak sets. And as the photos show surfing conditions were clean and smooth with the wind light and variable while Ketut was on the scene.
Weather wise it was a mainly overcast day with some sunny breaks and even a few drops of rain thrown in for good measure.
Today the 7th and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was only just showing wave height to be breaking in the 1-1ft+ range between Kuta reef and Airport Left. So not a lot happening here surf wise today making it a good day to stay at home and catch up on some other stuff.
Weather wise today there was some early morning rain followed by another mainly overcast type of day with patches of sun and a few more drops of rain. Wind direction right now at 5.30PM is out of the SSW at 8knots.
Our water photographer friend Lucas Palma has also sent us through another batch of photos that he shot yesterday over on the East Coast and it looks like the East Side is getting more swell than what we are here on the West side. I’ll try and get those online for ya’s later this evening.
Alright that’s me for now but we will be back out there again tomorrow on the wave hunt. So stay tuned to the original Bali surf report website and don’t forget to follow us twitter and instagram for more up dates and info.
