BALI / INDONESIA
3rd – 4th April 2016
Hello everyone and welcome back to the baliwaves (keeping it real since back in 1999) for the start of another surfing week and our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions. From right here on every bodies favorite tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Congtrats to Aussie Matty Wilko for ringing the Bell yesterday.
Yesterday the 3rd we were hoping that the East Coast might have been picking up a little bit more swell, so that’s where we headed, Keramas. But as it shows in this current photo gallery wave height was still pretty much coming through in the waist to head high class. There were a few slightly over head freak sets but not too many coming through. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy through until around 10.30AM. Crowd wise there was around 25 – 30 surfers while conditions were at there best. Great waves for grommets and the crew from Pantai Lebih looked to be having a ball on the end section.
Coming up on the 13th of April Keramas Beach will be closed to the surfing public for the annual JPSA surfing contest. I think it runs for the best part of a week.
This morning the 4th and it’s just gone 5.10AM and just about time for a surf check. So stay tuned in for more up dates through out the morning.
Weather wise it was so hot over on the black sand beach of Keramas, mostly just plain old hot and sunny for the beaches of Bali.
