BALI / INDONESIA
11th April 2016
Hello surfers and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok that’s right as it shows in today’s photo gallery wave height is still down in the 2-3ft+ range here on the island of the Gods. We were down at Uluwatu and there were actually a few ok waves peeling off on Temple’s and on the Main Peak. But as the tide started to rush in for a solid 2.6mtr High the waves got just too fat, full and bumpy. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy through until midday with a clean off shore wind at Uluwatu before swinging to the South.
Weather wise it’s been another perfect beach bay with the midday temperature hitting 34 degree’s Celsius. There is some cloud starting to fill this afternoon now at 5.30PM
Ok folks just a quicky this arvo as I’ve been invited down the beach for one or two sunset bintangs and I had better not keep the crew waiting. Have a good one and tune in again tomorrow to see what we get up to here in Bali.
Coming up on the 13th of April Keramas Beach will be closed to the surfing public for the annual JPSA surfing contest. I think it runs for the best part of a week.
Come to Bali for a week this September 2-9. Watch Tex Perkins (The Cruel Sea, Beasts etc) and Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon) perform 6 gigs in 7 days at Hidden Valley, Resort on The Bukit. Slick accom at unbelievably affordable rates.
