BALI / INDONESIA
21st – 22nd April 2016
Hello everyone and welcome back to the baliwaves (keeping it real since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
So here we go and just to finish off Friday here’s another 50 odd photos that we snapped off over on Bali’s East Coast yesterday. We arrived on the scene as the tide was starting to push in to find a very clean and glassy waist to head high plus breaking on the ever popular location of Keramas. Maybe all the construction over there has slowed the crowds up as we were lucky enough to surf it yesterday with as many as 15 surfers in the water, almost a think of the past at this place.
Weather wise it was a mainly overcast day on the East side through until around midday.
Today the 22nd and we took out time again this morning and made a shirt trip back up the West Coast to Funggu. Again we were lucky enough to score some clean and tidy waves in the 2-4ft class. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy through until the wind dedicated to the SE around 11.00AM. Crowd wise it was pretty mellow as well for a nice change.
Outside today it’s been just another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island. Temperature wise right now at 2.45PM the mercury is at 33 degree’s celsius. Wind direction is coming out of the ESE – SE at 12knot plus, time for the Tradewind to start cranking up.
