BALI / INDONEISA
9th – 10th May 2016
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (Keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
Ok this mornings 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing some nice little waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. I also imagine that Airport Right around the other side of the runway was also looking good. Wave height at the time was showing in the chest to slightly over head high range but with a light NW breeze. There were also quite a few surfers already in the water.
But as it shows in today’s photo gallery Ketut took a short run up the coast to Canggu. Sorry for naming names but Canggu is way past being a secret and is usually always pretty busy, they even have a web cam on it these days. Anyway the good thing about Canggu is that there are some very nice waves in the area and today was no different. Wave height was in the 2 to solid 4ft class with the NNW breeze off shore. Good waves on all 3 sections and some high performance surfing going down.
Weather wise this morning there was some light cloud but that never hung around for too long and before ya knew it we were back to a mainly blue sky and sunshine. Temperature wise outside right now at 3.10PM the mercury is still on 34C with the Humidity at 72%. Wind direction is also now back to the SE at 6-10knot.
