We shot this current photo gallery over on the East Coast yesterday around mid morning. As the tide was starting to roll in we thought we’d head to Keramas in the hope that the crowds had abated and the waves pumping. We were not far off either, wave height was in the 2-4ft range and surfing conditions clean and glassy as it shows in the photos. Crowd wise we hit the nail on the head with only around 10 surfers in the water at first and maxing out at 15 by the time Ketut was ready to head back home.
This morning the 12th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to have bumped up a touch from yesterday afternoon’s surf check. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was showing waist to head high plus. Surfing conditions at the time were clean and glassy with a light NW breeze. But since then it has swung back to the ESE. Providing clean off shore wind from Kuta Beach all the way down to Uluwatu.
We might take a run down to Uluwatu and see what’s happening on the Racetrack when the tide bottoms out later this afternoon, so keep an eye on the baliwaves through out the day for more news and up dates.
Weather wise this morning there was some high and thin cloud cover but now at 9.30AM it’s all blue sky and sun shine for the lucky people here in Bali. Temperature wise the mercury has already reached 30 degree’s Celsius and should go a little higher yet. Humidity level is at 69%
The next tide will be a 2.0mtr High around 1.30PM
