BALI / INDONESIA
18th – 19th June 2016
Good morning friends and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (Bali’s original surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the unquestionably No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok just a quik one this morning seeing as though it’s Sunday (6.00AM) and the crew and I are chomping at the bit to get back out on the road and go find some more un crowded waves. Yesterday the 18th we surfed over on the East coast of Bali with wave height in the 3-5ft class, clean and glassy surfing conditions. When we paddled out at 7.45AM there was a total of 3 surfers in the water.
Weather wise we had a warm and sunny morning with a few drops of rain around midday then wrapping it up with a hot and sunny afternoon.
Ok so as I said it’s just gone 6.00AM (19th June) here in Bali and there is still some cloud hanging around after an early morning shower. Stay tuned to the baliwaves for more info and up dates through out the day.
Oh yeah and if your looking for something to do today head down to Uluwatu and check out the finals of the Uluwatu Boardriders Challenge, they should be kicking off around 7.00AM and there are going to be some good waves and even better surfing going down. We called in late yesterday afternoon to catch some of the Masters heats (over 30..) and the Racetrack was cranking and we will edit up some of those photos ASAP.
Take care department, last night I had an email from a friend who had all his camera equipment stolen from the car park at Balangan beach (southern end). So please don’t leave any valuables in your car or under your bike seat. If anyone does hear of anyone a bit dodgey selling a Canon 7DM2 and 100 – 400 lens drop us a line pronto.
