BALI / INDONESIA
4th – 5th June 2016
Hello everyone and thanks for calling by the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Kicking off today’s up date with 60 odd photos that we have taken at where we have been surfing the last couple of days. The first batch as you probably already no were taken up the West Coast where wave height was in the 4-6ft range with left handers peeling off for up to 300mtrs. As expected with big waves at most locations there were was a solid turn out of surfers /zombies spread through the line up on the day. While the back end section of our gallery feature’s some meaty left and rights where we were yesterday the 5th over on Bali’s East Coast. Surfing conditions were perfect on the East Coast, light off shore wind and 6 – 8ft set waves with good shape. There were only 4 surfers in the water when we arrived at 7.00AM, but picked up to around 12 surfers as the tide filled in.
Weather wise it has just been plain old hot and sunny here on the holiday island. Yesterday the 5th also say a New Moon rising so get ready for some big tides over the next few days. Take extra care around Wednesday and Thursday when another bigger swell should be smacking into Bali and most of Indonesia.
Today the 6th of June and our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing 3-5ft waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport left / Right. There were surfers already in the water on all 3 sections. Stay tuned right here to the baliwaves for more info and up dates though out the day in our Twitter feed.
The next tide today will be a 2.6mtr High around 10.30AM
Outside right now at 7.20AM it’s blue sky with the temperature on 29 degree’s Celsius, wind direction is ENE @ 1-3knot.
