BALI / INDONESIA
6th -7th June 2016
Hello everybody and thanks again for dropping into the baliwaves (The surfers Bali surf report website by surfers since 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from no where else other than the No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Well I tell ya the waves have just been relentless here in Indonesia for weeks on end, and yesterday and today have been no different. On the 6th we were down at Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu. On arrival wave height was looking to be in the 3-5ft range with a light off shore wind. But they were obviously not the set waves, as it shows in these photos we shot. Yeah before long some of the set waves were pushing 5-7+ maybe. Crowd wise it wasn’t too bad but still there was some human error happening and some tempers flaring. Surfing conditions went a little bit sideways when the wind shifted to the S-SSE for awhile.
Today the 7th and with wave height backing off a touch more this morning we though we would head up to Canggu to see if there were any waves. It may have dropped off a touch but wave height was still a solid 4 foot with a couple of bigger ones hitting the river mouth. With the big high tide today the backwash coming off the wall was effecting Echo. The Sandbar also had some high tide wash on it and a heavy current running across it, but still a few sly ones.
Weather wise it’s been another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island, and what else would one expect from the tropics. Outside right now at 4.30PM the temperature is still on 31 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is on 84%. Wind direction comin gout of the S-SSE @ 4-7knot.
The next tide today in Bali will be a reef exposing 0.1mtr Low around 6.30PM

Ok as we are or should be aware tomorrow here in Bali we should see yet another new swell rolling in on the back of the last one. This one is charted as being pretty big with the period starting off at 21 seconds I’m there would be plenty of surfers here in Indo scrambling to get to their favorite locations as I type to greet the waves.
This Thursday night, it’s on again. Surf Happenings by Channel Islands Surfboards Bali. Come on down for a fun night of board talk, BBQ, beers, lucky door prize, cool clips and good vibes.
