BALI / INDONESIA
23rd – 24th June 2016
Good morning all you surfers and thanks for taking the time out to stop by the baliwaves (the one and only original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok so here’s a double whammy photo gallery from 2 different surf spots on Bali’s West Coast. The first section features some small but fun waves from the Gu and the later part has a handful of photos from up the coast near Jembrana The Gu is always fun but the numbers in water can get out of control while the long lefts of Jembrana usually only have a few Euro learners in the water, but they can be pretty dangerous at times as we all know too well.
Weather wise it’s been A typical hot and sunny here on the holiday island and will probably remain that way for at least 3-4 months more, with off shore wind all day every day.
This morning the 25th and it’s just gone 6.20AM and time to knock on some doors and wake everyone up to go see what the ocean has for us today. So we hope you have a fine Saturday if it is Saturday where you are and stay tuned to the original Bali surf report for more info and up dates through out the day.
The next tide today here in Bali will be a 0.7mtr Low at 6.40AM
Changing dollars to Rupiah in Kuta last night (sushi / sashimi dinner) had –1AU$=Rp9,700– –1US$=Rp13,300– don’t know what the Engligh Pound or Euro is doing at the moment.
Take care department, last night I had an email from a friend who had all his camera equipment stolen from the car park at Balangan beach (southern end). So please don’t leave any valuables in your car or under your bike seat. If anyone does hear of anyone a bit dodgey selling a Canon 7DM2 and 100 – 400 lens drop us a line pronto.
