BALI / INDONESIA
22nd – 23rd June 2016
Hi folks and thanks for tuning into the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the always in season No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok friends we have been doing a lot of miles the last few days tracking down the best possible waves. Here is a collection of photos that we shot down at Uluwatu and yes you can get luck and score a right hander or two when wave height is in the 3-4ft class and tide high. I’m just going to keep it short as I have an ear infection from hell and beyong at the very moment. Must have picked it up some where we have been surfing the last few days and it has chosen this afternoon to shut me down.
We did make another run up the West Coast of Bali again this morning and were lucky enough to score some 2-4 footers peeling off for 200mtrs, with clean off shore wind. Leave it with me and I’ll do my best to get some photographic proof on line for ya’s ASAP.
Changing dollars to Rupiah today here in Bali, –1AU$=Rp9,950 —
Weather wise just plain old hot and sunny here on the holiday island.
Take care department, last night I had an email from a friend who had all his camera equipment stolen from the car park at Balangan beach (southern end). So please don’t leave any valuables in your car or under your bike seat. If anyone does hear of anyone a bit dodgey selling a Canon 7DM2 and 100 – 400 lens drop us a line pronto.
