BALI / INDONESIA
3rd – 4th July 2016
Hi folks and thanks for taking the time out to drop into the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok so yesterday the 3rd and we were back over on the East side for another crack at Keramas. And as it shows in today’s 60+ photo gallery we were not let down. Wave height was just about pushing the double head high range on some of the bigger set waves with clean and glassy surfing conditions. There was a solid crew in the water but the local boys were giving a free demonstration on how to tear this wave apart.
This morning the 4th and our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was putting wave height in the 1-3ft class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. At the time the tide was still running in for a New Moon high and the wind was light out of the NW. Even at 11.00AM the wind was pretty well coming straight out of the West, it wasn’t until after lunch that wind swung back to the ESE and off shore here along Bali’s West side.
Ketut has taken a run down to Bali’s premier surfing location of Uluwatu this afternoon to see if there is any action happening on the famous low tide (0.1mtr @ 4.30PM) Racetrack section. So hopefully we will have another fresh tube filled photo gallery to give you all a peak at.
Weather wise today it’s been another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island with the midday temperature a warm 33 degree’s Celsius.
Ok folks that’s it for me for now but tune in again tomorrow for more news and up dates plus a bonus surf report and photo gallery from our friends at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Resort.
