BALI / INDONESIA
30th – 31st August 2016
Hello everyone and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on every sane surfers favorite tropical surfing holiday destination., Bali.
Yes that’s right you really can’t go wrong picking Bali for your next surfing holiday, perfect waves and weather with the unique Balinese Hindu culture and attitude. Bali has got it all from beach breaks for the learners and perfect tube rides for the experienced.
But anyway before I get too carried away here’s another 50 odd photos that we shot over on Bali’s East Coast before the wind trashed it. We were non the scene around 8.15AM and as it shows in the photos wave height was hitting the double head high range on some of the bigger freak sets. Nice waves at Keramas yesterday but way over crowded for this time of the year, even when the wind was on shore.
Today the 31st and this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height in the 2-3ft class between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running in at the time so there were waves on all 3 of the main sections with Middle Reef picking up the bigger set waves.
We are going to hang out and get some stuff down here at home and then scoot down to Uluwatu for the afternoon low tide session on the Racetrack, fingers crossed it’s barreling. So stay tuned to the original Bali surf report ok.
While your here check out some of the crazy deals the guys at the Perfect Wave surf travel company are offering !
