BALI / INDONESIA
21st August 2016
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since way back in 1999) to check out our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok so if you would have checked out our Twitter up dates through out the morning you would already have a pretty good idea of whats been going. But anyway here it how things panned out.
Our morning surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to be breaking in the 1-3ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean enough although the wind was coming out of the NNE. Middle Reef was looking the best with the tide still running in.
From there we headed up to Canggu, and as it shows in today’s 40+ photo gallery there were some nice ones hitting the river mouth and sand bar setions as the tide filled in. Surfing conditions were clean as can be expected with a light off shore wind. But being a Sunday at Canggu you better expect numbers in the water to be high.
Weather wise today here on the holiday island there was quite a bit of cloud hanging around up at Canggu early. But it wasn’t long and the cloud was gone and were left with another hot and sunny day. Light and variable wind through the morning and right now at 5.30PM it’s coming out of the SSE at 8-12knot.
Alrighty then friends we hope you have been enjoying the weekend here on the baliwaves and make sure you come back and join us again tomorrow for the start of another surfing week.
