BALI / INDONESIA
26th August 2016
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves (delivering the goods from Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok so this mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave 1-2 footers breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was still running out at the time and the wind was light out of the ENE.
But as it shows in today’s photo gallery we shot we went somewhere else. Wave height at this spot was running in the 1-3ft (head high sets) range with maybe even one or two slightly bigger freakys. Crowd wise it wasn’t too bad for being in the middle of Bali’s peak surfing season.
Weather wise there was some early morning rain but all cleared up by 8.00AM and from there on it was nothing but blue sky and sun shine. Now at 5.00PM its back to overcast with the chance of maybe another drop or two of rain overnight.

Just a quick one today seeing as though it is Friday afternoon the lads and I might just head down for a beer on the beach with crew at Tuban. This will be my first beer in over 6 weeks, should taste ok I think.
Tune in again tomorrow cause we will be working through the weekend as usual.
While your here check out some of the crazy deals the guys at the Perfect Wave surf travel company are offering !
There’s also a chance to catch Tom Curren performing live at Uluwatu this Saturday night here in Bali. Tickets are only around 30 bucks and still available and all proceeds going to a good cause. Check the promo down the page !
