BALI / INDONESIA
23rd – 24th August 2016
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (The original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Yesterday the 23rd and with wave height on the Outer Reefs of Tuban only showing in the 1-2ft range. The sun was out and the wind was light and variable. So we headed down to Uluwatu, where we knew we would be finding a little more size and power for a paddle.
Arriving down on the southern end of the island around 8.00AM just as the tide was starting to push back in. The wind was still light and variable until dedicating to the ESE around 10.30AM. Wave height as it shows in today’s gallery was in the 2-3ft range with maybe a couple of slightly bigger freak sets through out the session.
Today the 24th and out 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing a little more size with wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left / Right in the 2-4ft class. Surfing conditions were clean with the wind already light out of the ESE.
Weather wise we had some heavy rain through the night and another shower early this morning but other than that today has been just another hot and sunny day in paradise.
Ok crew thats me for now but res assured we will be back out there on the wave hunt again tomorrow. So make sure you keep an eye on the baliwaves !
