BALI / INDONESIA
27th September 2016
Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report since back in 1999) for today’s latest news and as always the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Well this mornings 7.30AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to have back off down into the 1-3ft class between Kuta reef and Airport Left. Surfing conditions were clean with the wind light out of the North.
So with those conditions we headed straight up the coast a little ways to the Gu. And as it shows in today’s fresh photo gallery wave height was in the 2-4ft with a light off shore wind through the morning. Good fun sized waves and plenty of barrels happening on the sand bar section. Crowd wise it was pretty normal for this very popular part of the island. But I swear I saw the same young fresh faced 20+ year old with a 4 week old beard at least 30 times on the way in and out today ?
Weather wise it’s been another hot and sunny day. We have been getting some heavy rain dropping through the early hours of the morning the last few days and that has been pushing the humidity levels. Temperature wise right now at 4.30PM it’s still a warm 31Celsius, Humidity is at 84%.
Ok crew that’s me for now but we do have a plan formulated for tomorrow mornings dawn patrol so keep an eye on the baliwaves for more up dates and info through out the morning via our Twitter and Instagram feeds on site.
Don’t forget to contact us here at baliwaves if you would like to help out with a surf report and maybe photos from where ever you might be in Bali. If you run a surf orientated business it might be well worth your time. Drop me a line and I’ll fill you in.
