This mornings 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban still had wave height pegged in the 1-2ft range at best. The tide was still up and the wind was coming out of the North. Middle Reef was picking up the bigger waves as usual.
I was hoping to find just a little more size over on the East Coast up at Keramas. But by the time I got through the Sanur morning rush hour traffic surfing conditions and wave height were pretty ordinary. But seeing as though I had dragged myself all the way up there I thought I’d better shoot you a few photos. As they show wave height was in the 1-2ft class with a couple of head high freak sets thrown in.
Weather wise we had a mostly hot and sunny morning with the temp up around 31 degree’s Celsius. Then around 2.00PM we had a brief thunder storm with no rain (Tuban). Now at 3.00PM the sky is clearing away for more blue sky again.
Bad news with another shark attack near the Byron Bay area of Australia, how many is that in the last 12 months ? Looks like safer bet to come surfing in Bali to me.
Ok thanks again crew and we’ll be back again tomorrow with more news and up dates so stay tuned to the original Bali surf report website (’99).
Our Swell Forecast for this week is looking rosy towards the end of the week with a solid swell arriving sometime Thursday evening.
