BALI / INDONESIA
4th -5th October 2016
Hello friends and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali’s surfing scene since back in 1999) for our latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok it’s been go go go the last couple of days with early starts and long days, sore shoulders and sunburn. What a great feeling it is and a pleasurable pain. But as you may have noticed in today’s 80 off photos I’ve loaded up the waves were sick for at least a solid 2hr window over on Bali’s East Coast yesterday the 4th. Crowd wise it was also pretty good with around 24 surfers in the line up. Surfing conditions held out clean right through until around 10.45AM and by that time we were pretty surfed out and nasi goreng time.
Weather wise it was super hot through the morning before yet some more solid afternoon rain.
Today the 5th and we were up early and back out at it again, we were at a different location this morning and indeed there were some perfect waves breaking both left and right in the head to double head high range. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy through until 10.45AM when the SE Tradey started to kick in and mess up the East Coast. Photos coming ASAP.
Weather wise it’s been another hot and sunny day and we haven’t spotted any rain as yet. Now at 6.15PM the temperature would still be around 30 Celsius, or maybe it’s just my sun burned face.
Ok crew catch ya’s again tomorrow when we get back from surfing, but stay tuned to the original Bali surf report for up dates through out the day.
