BALI/ INDONESIA
18th -19th October 2016
Hello surfers and thanks again for stopping by your baliwaves (delivering you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views (from all over the island) on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok so we had another long hard day of surfing yesterday here on the holiday island. As it shows in today’s photo gallery the 2hr drive paid off again and we scored some un crowded 3-4ft+ waves peeling off the point for 300mtrs. Well un crowded until the tide started to fill in and the rocks got covered up, even the far West Coast is not free of zombies but there was also a good friendly crew with with a hello in the water as well.
Today the 19th and while I have been working at home Ketut took the camera equipment for a run up to the Gu. Seeing as though the wind was out of the North and the tide just starting to run back in. Ketut got some more great photos for us and I’ll sort and edit them up for ya’s ASAP ok. Wave height has dropped off some over night with 2-4ft waves on the Outer Reefs of Tuban and similar 2-3ft+ waves up at the Gu on all 3 of the main breaks in the area.
Weather wise it’s been another hot dry and sunny day here in Tuban, and right now at 2.45PM the temperature is still a warm 33Celsius. Wind direction is now SSE at 6-10knot.
