BALI / INDONESIA
4th November 2016
Hello friends and thanks for tuning again to the baliwaves. Hey and how about showing some love and take a look at the flashing banner over to the right of this. We are hoping to raise some so we can get some new camera equipment and helping you save some money at the same time. We’ve been doing our part here at baliwaves since ’99 bringing you a little bit of Bali each day, so show some love if you can.
This mornings surf check on the Outer Reefs at 6.30AM was not looking real promising. Wave height between Kuta Reef and Airport Left was only just breaking in the 1-2ft range. The tide was low at the time and the wind light out of the NE.
As it shows in today’s 50+ photo gallery we went back up to the Goo to see if we get something slightly bigger. Wave wise there was a little more swell getting in there for sure. As it also shows in the photos there must have been some serious storms happening up in the mountains to the North West as the river was flowing hard and bring lots of flotsom and jetsom out onto the shore line. The river back has been heavily eroded and a lot of sand deposited out into the once deep channel.
But wave wise there was some nice peaks hitting all 3 of the main sections with surfing conditions clean and glassy (choclatey) up until around 10.00AM.
Weather wise it was a mostly overcast morning with some sunny breaks.
Ok crew stay tuned cause there is some new swell in transit and close by.
By the way Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp is offering a massive 50% discount for the end of season. Contact us now and score a bargain and get some barrels at G-Land.
Thanks again for checking out the baliwaves and don’t forget to check some of the special deals we are offering in order to get you some new camera equipment.
