Hello friends and thanks for tuning again to the baliwaves. Hey and how about showing some love and take a look at the flashing banner over to the right of this. We are hoping to raise some so we can get some new camera equipment and helping you save some money at the same time. We’ve been doing our part here at baliwaves since ’99 bringing you a little bit of Bali each day, so show some love if you can.
Alright folks just a quicky this morning as the boys are chomping at the bit to hit the road in search of more waves (4.50AM). Anyway yesterday we searched high and low for some nice ones. First we thought the action might have subsided up at Double D on the East side, but nope. There were 20+ surfers in the water on the low tide with 2 wave sets and not much in between, but those 2 waves did look pretty good.
So we went back to Turtle’s where wave height wasstill and easy 4-5ft with 6ft clean ups, and I did get cleaned up. But there were some smoking right handers as it shows in this mornings photo gallery. It was also good to see Balinese Father and son in the line up (Wayan Ganti Yasa and his son who is ripping). There wa also an early morning appearance from Padma’s Tonyo. Plus a pretty friendly crew on International’s scattered through the line up. Surfing conditions were clean and glassy through the morning before the wind swung more to the South mid morning.
There was also some nice waves peeling off on Kuta Reef on the afternoon run in tide.
Weather wise it was just plain HOT.
