Hello friends and thanks for tuning again to the baliwaves. Hey and how about showing some love and take a look at the flashing banner over to the right of this. We are hoping to raise some so we can get some new camera equipment and helping you save some money at the same time. We’ve been doing our part here at baliwaves since ’99 bringing you a little bit of Bali each day, so show some love if you can.
Ok crew just a quicky this morning as it’s almost time to hit the road and go get my team into some fresh waves. But here is a photo gallery that Ketut shot (while I surfed) on our trip up the coast to Rocky Pt. We were hoping to score some long lefts in the head to over head high range and that’s exactly how it worked out. We also timed it so the tide was just starting to run out to. Why ? because when the tide is high the line up these days is littered with middle aged Europeans getting pushed into waves. But on the run out there’s too many rocks for them, bahahaha. But all in all except for the traffic we all had another memorable day and so many waves.
Yesterday the 11th and my 6.00AM surf check on the Outer reefs was only showing at best 1-2ft waves breaking between Kuta reef and Airport left. Surfing conditions were just as ordinary with the wind blowing fresh out of the South, lay day.
Right now at 6.00AM on the 12th I’m just about to shut this thing down and get my crew ready to roll. We do have a mostly blue sky at this stage with the wind light out of the SE. I’m also hoping on a new pulse of swell so we could end upanywhere. Stay tuned for more up dates through out the morning in our Twitter and Instagram feeds ok.
