I shot these current photos back over at Serangan yesterday afternoon. I was hoping for the wind to back off and the clouds to part so we could get some decent photos for ya’s. Conditions were not that bad really I guess, there were waves in the 2-4ft class and the wind fresh out of the W-WSW. The local Indo groms were having a lot of fun out there and surfing hard. It was also good to catch up with my old friend Devis Ratif who was out surfing with his two sons. Not too mention that I was standing out in the open sun shooting photos when I see another old friend Nyoman “robot” walking towards me with a couple of icy cold beers, a perfect way to finish off before a swim with my kids then home for dinner.
Today the 30th our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing 2-3ft waves between Kuta reef and Airport Left with the wind light out of the NNW. Since then Ketut has phoned through from the Gu here on the West Coast calling 2-4ft waves with light on shore wind. At the time there were only a total of 25 surfers from the river mouth to the sand bar and few “”ok waves” coming through. With a board or two broken while on the scene.
Weather wise this morning has been mostly overcast with a few drops of rain included, here in Tuban anyway. Outside ride now at 11.00AM the temperature is on 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is 65%. Wind direction is now WNW @ 6-10knot. Maybe a chance of another drop or two of rain yet to come.
Ok Everyone it’s been a quick year for some and a long hard year for others. I’m glad we made and we really hope that all you people have a bigger and better year in 2017. Take care and we hope to see you here in Bali soon.
