Ok so we got lucky yesterday morning with a light NNW wind instead of the usual strong WSW we have had the last 10 days or so. So we took full advantage of the clean conditions and headed up to the Gu. As the photos show there were some solid well over head waves grinding on the sandbar section. There also some fun rights on the river mouth.
This morning the 31st and wave height here on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was only showing in the 1-2ft+ range with the wind back to it’s old tricks coming out of the WSW. So if you were looking for a wave today your best chances will be over on the East Coast somewhere.
Weather wise to see us out this year it’s been a mostly overcast morning with some rain. Right now at 11.30AM the mercury is on 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 70%. Wind direction is coming out of the W-WSW at 8-12knot. I hope it stays clear for this evenings parties happening all over the island.
The next tide today will be a 0.6mtr Low around 5.00PM
Ok friends have a great New Year’s Eve, Party On and STAY SAFE.
