Ok friends of Bali just a quick up date this morning befor we take off on another wave hunt search and destroy mission. The last couple of days we have been all over the place. Keramas on the 7th was clean and fun but only in the waist to head high class with around 18 surfers in the water on the low tide.
Yesterday the 8th we took an early morning run up the coast as one of our crew wanted to move up there and spend a few days. Things were looking good on arrival with 3-5ft waves speeding down the line off the point and no surfers in the water at 6.30AM. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with a light off shore wind. After watching it for a while it was easy to see why there were no surfers in the water as the sweep / current was honking and wasn’t going to be fun for anyone trying to cross it. But a few waves were had and it was a very cruizy drive both ways.
Weather wise it was another hot and sunny day here on the holiday island.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 1.8mtr High around 7.00AM
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Seminyak yesterday — 1US$=Rp13,265 — 1AU$=Rp9,650 — Rates will vary of course.
Ok have a good one and keep an eye on the baliwaves for more up dates and info through out the day.
