Ok HAPPY NEW YEAR to one and all ! I hope you got to kick off 2017 with a dip in the ocean and a few waves. Well we set off this morning and headed for Canggu seeing as though the wind was again a light NNW’r. But by the time we got there the wind had come around a little more to the West and there was just too much current moving around on the sand bar. So we bit the bullet and bee lined it over to the East Coast and hit Serangan. As it shows there were some solid sets and I got my share on the head. How is it an old surfer can hold onto his board (me) when getting them on the head and a couple of young fit looking gym boys chucked there boards without even trying to hold onto em, bahahahaha.
Seriously there were some nice waves coming through and it was good to see a few of my old Balinese mates out in the water grabbing a few waves.
Weather wise it’s been 50 / 50 and still pretty warm with the midday temperature busting into the low 30’s on the Celsius scale.
Ok crew stay tuned cause we’ll be heading back to (somewhere) tomorrow.
