Ok so yesterday morning on the 6th the wind swung a little more to the Northern quadrant so we thought we’d take full advantage of it and surf a little more locally here on the West Coast. As it shows in the photos we didn’t do too bad either. Wave height was in the 2-3ft class with 1 or 2 bigger freak sets, surfing conditions ranging from clean and glassy, light off shore to cross shore while we were on location between 7 – 11AM. There were some sucky left handers at times but a little un forgiving for us old guys (me) and I did end up with a pocket full of sand. Crowd wise there might have been maybe 10 – 12 surfers in the water.
Weather wise it was a nice morning with some blue sky and the water was warm., that about covers it right.
This morning the 7th and now at 5.40AM the wind is already blowing out of the West, I can see some stars but there is still some blacked out sections of the sky from cloud. Anyway it won’t be long before we get out there and find some waves, fingers crossed.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 0.6mtr Low around 10.30AM
Changing dollars to Rupiah on the streets of Seminyak yesterday — 1US$=Rp13,300 — 1AU$=Rp9,750 — Rates will vary of course.
Ok have a good one and keep an eye on the baliwaves for more up dates and info through out the day.
