BALI / INDONESIA
7th February 2017
Hi peeps and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (bringin you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on thye World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok so had a bit of a run around this morning on our mission to get in a surf. We turned up at our primary location around 6.30AM to find it already pretty crowded with 2-3ft+ wobbly waves and light variable wind. So it didn’t take us long to jump back in the car and see what else might be available. A quick check at Padang Galak had cleaner conditions and no one in the water but wave height at the time was only 1ft.
But as it shows in today’s photo gallery we did end up finding a few waves, 3rd location lucky. By the time we got in the water there was already a solid crowd in the waist to head high waves and clean off shore wind while we were in the water.
Weather wise it’s been pretty good with a mostly hot and sunny day here on the holiday island.
We have made the draw for all concerned and I’m sure the winners are going to be grinners. Thanks for everyone who chipped in and it won’t be long and we will be using some new camera equipment as well.
