BALI / INDONESIA
9th February 2017
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (helping to promote local surfers since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Another early start for our team today and it felt pretty good at 6.30AM to be paddling out to 3-4ft+ clean and glassy waves with only a dozen other surfers in the water. So plenty of waves for those who knew what it’s all about. Surfing conditions stayed clean and glassy through until around 9.45AM when the wind swung a little to the SW. But we had already clocked up a solid session. I’d say there would have been a lot of nice waves all the way up and down the East Coast and a few nice options available here on the West Coast.
Weather wise it’s been a mainly lightly over cast type of day with a few bursts of sun shine. Temperature wise the mercury peaked at 32 Celsius. The water temperatire has been perfect for board shorts and bikini’s around the 24 Celsius mark
Tomorrow is looking like being on the cards for another good day of fun waves and we’ll be heading back out there on the wave hunt. So make sure you keep one eye on the baliwaves for more news and up dates.
We have made the draw for all concerned and I’m sure the winners are going to be grinners. Thanks for everyone who chipped in and it won’t be long and we will be using some new camera equipment as well.
