BALI / INDONESIA
28th March 2017
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (the original Bali surf report website since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok ok, so everyone know’s that yesterday was “Nypie” day here on the island of the Gods and what a gift to mother nature and our planet hey. 24hrs of nothing no foot print, no nothing and this is the World’s major holiday island with millions of people, everything stopped and turned off giving the island to catch it’s breath. What if the whole World could give the planet a break just for one day.
But anyway hows these waves we hooked into this morning over on Bali’s East side. We arrived around 8.00AM as the tide was starting to push in to find wave height a very clean and tidy 3-4ft with maybe 25 surfers in the water. By 9.30AM wave height was in the 4-6ft class on the bigger set waves and some very very good surfing going down. It wasn’t until around 10.00AM that the wind started to shift more to the WSW-SW.
Today’s gallery is just loaded in order they were taken sorry I didn’t have time to set it out better.
Weather wise it was pretty hot shooting photos on that black sanded beach I tell ya’s. But it did cool down a bit this afternoon with the WSW wind.
Tomorrow’s another day, so stay tuned cause we’ll be heading out early on the wave trail.
Also I hope you have all check out our two new surf reports and photos from our friends at KabuNuhi / Nias and from Damai / South Sumatra. Plus there’s a new short story on site from our resident story teller Col Decosta.
