BALI / INDONESIA
24th – 25th March 2017
Hello surfers and thanks for dropping into the baliwaves (giving you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for the latest news and our best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
Alright so here’s a solid photo gallery from where we were surfing at on the 24th just gone. We were stoked to score these lovely peaky left and rights with a light off shore wind lasting through until around 10.00AM. Crowd wise it wasn’t too bad but there was a high zombie alert in place. Great to surf here on the West Coast we just follow the wind this time of the year.
Yesterday the 25th and wave height had sagged down into the 2-3ft+ range but with the wind having more West in it we decided on going over to the East Coast and managed to have some fun before the wind dedicated to the SSW.
Weather wise it’s been real nice with the midday temperature peaking around the 30 degree’s Celsius mark. The wind has been light and variable through the mornings before dedicating to that Western Quadrant.
Right now at 5.45AM on Sunday the 26th, it’s been raining since I got up at 4.15AM and is just starting to let off now. But I’m betting it will be just another day at the beach for my crew.
Don’t forget we are getting ready for “Nypie” here in Bali, happening on the 28th of this month. Please respect this Balinese custom, you know the old saying “when in Rome…” There will also be traffic delays in some area’s from Balinese ceremonies and getting the monsters ready for Nypie.
Ok friends thanks again and we hope your having a good one. Stay tuned right here to the original Bali surf report for more up dates through out the morning via our Twitter feed.
