BALI / INDONESIA
9th March 2017
Hi surfers and welcome aboard the baliwaves (keeping it real since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on today’s surfing and weather conditions from here on your favorite tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Alright, so anyone who is following baliwaves on Twitter would have already received a lot of info on this mornings weather and surf conditions, likewise anyone who has already read our Twitter feed on baliwaves. But anyway this mornings 7.15AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing roughly 1-3ft waves breaking between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was just about the top of the tide and the wind coming out of the NW at 4-7knot.
So once we had that info Ketut grabbed the camera equipment and headed off to see what he could find. And as it shows in this current photo gallery we didn’t do too bad. Wave height was in the 2-3ft range with the occassional slightly bigger freak set and the wind was light and clean while Ketut was on the scene. Crowd wise there wasn’t any shortage of surfers with the most surfers riding the lefts.
Weather wise it’s been another mainly overcast day with a few breaks of sun shine. But I do have to tell you that after 3 weeks off island in a cooler climate I’m getting hammered by the humidity, should be back to normal soon I hope.
