BALI / INDONESIA
11th March 2017
Hi folks and welcome back to the baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
This mornings 7.15AM surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was again only showing wave height in that stubborn old 1-2ft range. That was between Kuta Reef and Airport Left while the tide was still running in. The wind was only super light out of the NW at the time.
So Ketut took the camera gear for a run back up to Canggu here on Bali’s West Coast. As it shows in today’s photo gallery there was nothing to rave about that’s for sure. But I imagine if you had just flown in from some waveless cold climate part of the World and saw these waves you would be stoked. Or the old old saying that any surf is a good surf, as long as you get in the water.
Ketut also made a stop off at the beach breaks up along Legian but again there wasn’t a lot happening with the solid morning high tide. The last 4 photos in today’s photo gallery sum it pretty good.
Weather wise right now we still have that blue sky over us and at 3.20PM the temperature is still a warm 30C, Humidity at 67%. Wind direction is now coming out of the WSW at 8-12knot.
Ok friends we’ll be out there again tomorrow on the wave hunt so call in if you get a chance and see what’s happening here in Bali.
