BALI / INDONESIA
29th – 30th March 2017
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you tight with Bali since back in 1999) for today’s latest news and our best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali
Ok well on nthe 29th there wasn’t a lot happening in the way of good waves. We did take a run over to the East coast in the morning but only to find 2-3ft waves with a fresh on shore wind. So we took a break.
But then yesterday the 30th we were up long before the birds and on our way up to the Jembrana coast. And we ended up getting lucky pulling into the little car park to find these waves peeling through with no other surfers in sight just yet. Needless to say we put in a good few hours in the water and clocked up some serious wave time.
Today the 31st and we were back surfing again on the West coast, not quite as far a drive and the waves were not peeling off for up to 300 mtrs but it was still pretty good. As soon as I go through the photos Ketut shot I’ll edit you up a batch ok, so stay tuned.
Weather wise it’s been hot and sunny as expected of the tropics.
