BALI / INDONESIA
26th – 27th April 2017
Hello everyone and thanks again for stopping by the baliwaves (bringin you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and hard to beat views on surfing and weather conditions from here on every sane surfers favorite tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok seeing as though the sun is almost up this morning I’m going to keep it short and sweet. Yesterday the 26th we thought we’d do a run back up the coast a little ways from home and see what was happening at the Gu. As it shows there were some mighty fine waves breaking on all 3 sections and a clean off shore wind that lasted through until around 10.20AM. But with the New Moon on the 25th there was a killa high tide on mid morning which did it’s damage to Echo and the Sandbar. Leaving a hungry hungry crowd on the right hander as always.
Weather wise it was another hot and sunny one here in Bali with the ESE Trade Wind kicking in late mid morning here on the West Coast.
Today the 27th and like I said it’s almost time to head down for a surf check on the Outer Reefs and I think that’s where we will be surfing this morning. Gotta be early as there is another massive 2.7mtr High predicted for 10.30AM that’s gonna be making some fat waves.
Hang in there though as Ketut will be going back over to Keramas beach to catch the final day of the Mad Huey / Komune QS1000 and get us some photos.
Plus I have another surf report and photos from our friends at the KabuNuhi Resort / Nias. Plus another report and photos from our friends at the Kandui Resort / Mentawai Islands to load up for ya’s.
Have a good one and talk to you again soon, after a surf :-)
