BALI / INDONESIA
17th – 18th April 2017
Hi peeps and thanks for taking the time out to stop by the baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok so as I mention in yesterdays report Ketut was over on the East Coast yesterday and that is where our current photo gallery was shot. Numbers were good with only 5 in the water when he arrived and still only 15 when he left a few hours later. But that’s going to be changing for the worst soon when the WSL is back there next week for another contest. But the rare days when you score Keramas un crowded are well worth it, even if it is only 2-4ft.
I’ve also thrown in a couple of images from the baliwaves Surf Cam (free to view) that is standing sentinal over the Impossible’s line up.
Today the 18th and seeing as most everyone is back to their normal grind again we took a run down to Uluwatu this morning to see what was happening on the Racetrack section through the low tide. Ketut was caling 3-4ft waves peeling off on the track, but no local tube riders in sight. Anyway after I get this done and have some lunch I’ll see what we have on the memory card from Ulu this morning. I’ve been pulling down fishing reels all morning getting ready for the season.
There was also some fun waves out on the Outer Reefs of Tuban this morning with out too many zombies.
Weather wise outside right now it’s another hot and sunny day with hardly a cloud in the sky. Right now at 12.30PM the outside temperature is on 31 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 79%. Wind direction is now coming light out of the SSW.
The next tide today will be a 2.0mtr High @ 1.23PM
Tomorrows forecast is looking similar in wave height, maybe just a fraction smaller. Hopefully the wind will also be a little bit cleaner as well, predicted to be coming out of the Eastern quad.
