BALI / INDONESIA
9th – 10th April 2017
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on the only sane choice for your next tropical surfing holiday, Bali.
Ok well yesterday the 9th and things were looking crook, we had made it over to the East Coast of the island in search of off shore wind and waves. But only to find wave height a very weak waist to head high, at least the wind was off shore while we were there. We didn’t hang out long and after a quick 1 hr paddle we thought we’d go take a look at Airport Left back near home. Airports ended up being a good option with only maybe 5 surfers in the water with clean, glassy surfing conditions. Wave height was pushing head high.
But as it shows in today’s solid photo gallery we managed to get amongst some fine waves this morning. We were up early and in the water just as the sun was coming up. There were waves galore on all of the main breaks in this area, and also no shortage of surfers either.
Weather wise it couldn’t have been much better, blue sky and a warm 32 degree’s by midday. Wind direction was out of the North early this morning before swinging to the ESE around midday.
Ok crew we are getting up early again tomorrow so that’s it from me for now. But stay tuned to the original Bali surf report for more news and up dates through out the day via our Twitter feed on site.
