BALI / INDONESIA
4th – 5th May 2017
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok we have been cruising back over on Bali’s East Coast the last couple of days and as it shows in our current photo gallery we have not been too bad at all. Wave height was up on the 4th and we ended up scoring 3-5ft+ with only a handful of surfers in the water. Lefts and rights but with some of the rights peeling off for a good 100mtrs or so.
Yesterday the 5th (Happy Birthday Ayu) and we were hoping for the swell to hang in there again but not to be. We tried a different spot know to pick up a little more swell on occasion but was only delivering waist to head high waves. Crowd wise it was also pretty good but was soon pretty crowded so we pulled the plug and headed south a little further.
Weather wise it’s been hot and sunny the last couple of days and today the 6th right now at 6.20am it’s shaping up for another hot day here in Bali.
We are going to take off shortly and hopefully go and get a few waves. So stay tuned for a Twitter update in another hour or so.
We also have a fresh surf report and photo gallery from our friends at KabuNuhi Surf Resort up in Nias / Sumatra to load up so keep an eye on baliwaves for that.
I’ve also been asked to pass onto any of baliwaves friends a solid 10% discount into Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp, so if you want to hit G-Land abd save some money make sure you contact us here first to score the deal.
