BALI / INDONESIA
14th – 15th May 2017
Hi peeps and welcome back to your baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Indo since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Alright so here’s a collection of photos that we shot down at Bali’s and I guess all of Indonesiia’s No.1 surfing location of Uluwatu. When we arrived wave height only looked to be in the 2-3ft with maybe a couple of 4ft freakies but as the tide pushed in so did some more size, as it shows in some of the photos. Some super clean and hollow waves hitting the Main Peak and Temple sections helped out by a fresh ESE Trade Wind. Crowd wise it was a little bit out of hand with lots of testosterone and tattoo’s, or not many smiling faces. Except for a couple of the local boys that were in the water.
Weather wise it was hot and sunny all day long here on Bali’s West side.
Yesterday the 15th and our morning surf check on the Outer Reefs of Tuban was showing wave height to have backed down into the 1-3ft on the morning low tide. Surfing conditions were clean and smooth with a light off shore breeze. We ended up heading up to Legian beach for a quick paddle in the afternoon. I don’t know about everyone else but I was having fun riding am 8’0: cruiser. It was also good to have a couple of refreshing beverages at “On the Juice” before heading back home for dinner.
Weather wise it was hot and sunny all day long here on Bali’s West side, again.
This morning the 16th and pretty soon we’ll be heading down for a surf check so stay tuned for more news and up dates via our baliwaves Twitter feed through out the day.
I also hope you have all been enjoying our latest surf reports and photos from other idealic surfing locations in other parts of exotic tropical Indonesia.
