BALI / INDONESIA
27th May 2017
Hi folks and welcome back to the baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for today’s news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from right here on your first choice tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Ok so as it shows in today’s photo gallery we were back down on the southern end of the island at the ever scenic location of Balangan beach. Unfortunately we had a mostly cloudy morning here on the island of the Gods, no rain where we were but I did here reports of heavy rain in other area’s. Wave height at Balangan was a healthy head to triple head high. The tide was running in fast through the morning and the waves did get a little too fat on the massive 2.7mtr High tide. Crowd wise it was pretty good until the high tide peaked. But we were happy with as it was time to go home by then.
Still no news on the future of the warungs down at Balangan with the ultimate decision still in process, fingers crossed we keep the warungs.
Tomorrow’s forecast is showing slightly smaller waves around the island and some more clean off shore wind for us on the West side. So make sure you stay tuned to the original Bali surf report website for more news and up dates through out the day.
I’ve also loaded a new surf report from Joyo’s G-Land Surf Canp and from our friends up at Nias at KabuNohi Saroke Resort so make sure you check them out. Apparently there are hardly any surfers up at Nias and could be a good time to head up that way.
I’ve also done a quick promo for Indonesian Explorer’s Mike and Bill Boyum who opened up Bali and G-Land for us later day surfers so make sure you check that out down in our news feed. Make sure you get your copy of this book, if your an Indo nut you’ll love it.
