BALI / INDONESIA
16th June 2017
Hello surfers and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you amped up for your next Indo surf trip since back in 1999) for our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from all over the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
Ok so as we mentioned in yesterdays report Ketut was over on the East coast of Bali, and as it shows it wasn’t too bad at all. Wave height was in the 3-4ft class or head to over head high and surfing conditions were clean and glassy through until the SE Trade Wind started to affect it around 10.00AM. Crowd wise there was around 20 surfers in the water while we were on the scene.
This morning the 16th and out 7.00AM surf check on the Outer reefs of Tuban was still only showing wave height in the 3-4ft range. But the tide was just about on the bottom of the low and I’d expect to see a bit more size push in when the tide turns. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with the wind light out of the East.
I’ve already had an up ate from my man down at Uluwatu and he was saying there were some solid set waves in the 6-8ft+ region hitting the Bombie and Temple sections.
Ketut has been down at Bingin all morning and called through saying it was pretty good with super clean surfing conditions. I’m looking forward to seeing the photos of the mechanical left hand barrel machine when Ketut gets back. I imagine there would have been some skin left on the reef this morning.
Weather wise today it’s been mostly sunny but there are some clouds moving in now at 11.30AM. Temperature wise the mercury is on 27 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 83%. ind direction is coming ut of the E-SE @ 9-13knot.
The next tide today in Bali will be a 2.0mtr High around 1.30PM
