BALI / INDONESIA
9th – 10th June 2017
Hi folks and tghanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for the latest news and the best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on every surfer’s first choice tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok so we have been pretty busy as usual surfing, trying to get you some good quality photos to check out and beat the crowds (when possible). This latest photo gallery was taken over on the East coast of Bali a couple a days ago. Surfing conditions were clean and tidy for a few hours when the SE Trade started to kick in, But up until then there were plenty of 3-4 footers and a pretty mellow crowd in the water. It was worth checking again yesterday morning and that’s what we did, to find it a little bigger and a little more consistent with another light crew in the water. I’ll cut a few photos from yesterday and mix em in with today’s photos. Weather wise it was a nice sunny morning.
Today the 11th and the SE Trade Wind was up early again today so we thought we head down to the South end of the island to see what was happening at one of our favorite locations. Wave height at Balangan was hitting the solid 4ft mark on the set waves just after mid tide and there was only 30 surfers spread out right across all sections. As usual there were plenty of close outs but there’s always a few long perfect one’s if your lucky. It did start getting a little crowded towards late morning as we were packing up.
Weather wise today it was a mostly over cast type of morning with some sunny breaks down on the bukit this morning. Right now at 1.45pm it’s a mostly blue sky with a strong SE off shore Tradey blowin. Temperature wise it’s around 30 degree’s Celsius.
Ok then I’ll keep eding so stay tuned for more photos and up dates on the way.
