Hello everyone and welcome back to your baliwaves (bringin you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
AS you might guess we have been pretty busy surfing the last couple of days and we have covered a few miles on both coasts. This current photo gallery was taken on the 8th up the West Coast of Bali. We were in the water by 7.30AM with 2-4ft waves peeling off for up to 200yrds, even though the wind was already light cross shore the waves were still clean and tidy as it shows. Crowd wise it wasn’t too bad but with a mid morning solid high tide there were quite a few learners on mals getting pushed into waves haha.
Weather wise it was mostly over cast with sunny periods. Traffic wise it was as per usual around a 2hr early morning drive and a lazy 3hr return trip. I also didn’t see any burnt and banged up trucks or buses the whole way.
Yesterday the 9th and we got up semi eraly again and darted over to the East Coast for a sneak attack. Arriving just before 7am to find wave height only showing in the 1-3ft class with clean conditions. The tide was on the mid rising so we thought we better wait and watch for a while and sure enough it was soon in the 2-4ft class and looking fun, it was. Crowd wise we had around 12 – 15 surfers in the water with fair conditions lasting through until around 10.00AM. I’ve also got another bunch of photos from where we surfed to load up, hang in there.
I also checked the Outer reefs of Tuban in the afternoon and there looked to be plenty of swell showing between Kuta Reef, Middle Reef and Airport Left. The off shore Trade Wind was pretty strong and wave height looked to be in the 3-5ft class.

This morning the 10th and right now at 6.20AM and we have a mostly clear sky with a couple of clouds drifting, the mercury is already sitting on 26 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 86&. Wind direction is coming out of the SE at 4-9knot.
