BALI / INDONESIA
25th – 26th July 2017
Hello surfers and welcome back to the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for today’s latest news and our best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the best value for hard earned surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.
Ok so this morning things were still a little sedate on our 7.00AM surf check on the Outer reefs here in Tuban. Wave height between Kuta reef and Airport Left was still averaging in the 2-4ft class. The tide was on the lower end of the scale so Middle Reef was looking the best out of the big 3. Surfing conditions were clean with the ESE – SE off shore Trade wind just starting to kick in.
So as it shows in our latest photo gallery we headed down South looking for some long walls, off shore wind and low numbers. And that’s about pretty well much what we found. At first the sets were rocking through consistently but by the time we walked down to the warungs the set waves were now few and far between, but still a fun sized 3-4ft. Lots of close outs as usual but if you were lucky you could still get a 200mtr ride.
Weather wise today it was a mostly clear and sunny day here along Bali’s South West coastline. Right now at 4.15PM there’s some light cloud cover putting a bit of a blanket over the blue. Temperature wise the mercury is still on 29 degree’s Celsius, Humidity is at 70%. Wind direction is coming hard out of the SE with gusts up to 20knot+.
Ok crew, hard to tell what’going to happen tomorrow, so we will just have to wait and see when we make the morning surf check, so stay tuned to the baliwaves, the website that you don’t have to be a pro surfer to make the cut and make an appearance.
