BALI / INDONESIA
27th August 2017
Hi folks and thanks for stopping by the baliwaves (keeping you in touch with Bali since back in 1999) for the start of another surfing week and our latest news and best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination, Bali.
Ok just a quicky this morning to bring ya’s up ta date as we’ll soon be back out there on the road on another surfing adventure. Yesterday the 27th with limited swell and the “big fight” on we thought we would sneak down to Ulu and score some uncrowded waves. With not much swell on hand if anywhere is going to have waves it’s Uluwatu. and with all the MMA supporters down there this year we knew the line up would be tattoo free, heh heh.
Wave height was in the 2-3ft class and maybe, just maybe a few came through slightly over head on the Main Peak and Temple sections. Low crowd in the morning with either, hang overs, the fight opr maybe just the big dry low tide keeping them away. Perfect surfing conditions with a light ESE straight off shore wind.
Weather wise it was mostly sunny with a few clouds fluffing around as clouds do.
Right now it’s just gone 4.50AM on the 28th, so stay tuned for more news and up dates through out the morning via our on site Twitter and Instagram feeds
I’d also like to give a big Thank You to Joseph and Seagate for the new 1TB hard disk. Ordinary folk also need to back up their PC’s and Lappy’s and the most reliable are from Seagate so don’t risk your valuable photo’s, video, data etc etc with anything less.
Another important issue for the locals here in Bali especially with winter going down in the Southern Hemisphere and the season for super flu in Australia. Please don’t bring flu’s and virus strains with you on holidays. Make sure you get to the Doctor first before getting on the plane and infecting all the passengers and then maybe infecting everyone you come in contact with here in Bali. You wouldn’t go to work with the Flu so don’t bring it to Bali please.
