BALI / INDONESIA
29th – 30th August 2017
Hi peeps and welcome back to the baliwaves (keeping you amped up for your next Indo surf trip since back in 1999) for our latest news and the absolute best views on surfing and weather conditions from here on nthe World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday destination of Bali.
Alright then, yesterday the 29th we were up the coast a little ways and as it shows in this latest photo gallery there was some very nice and tidy chest to slightly over head waves coming through, both left and right. Surfing conditions were clean and smooth until the SE Trade wind kicked in around 9.30AM. Even when it did there was still plenty of fun to be had.
Today the 30th and wave height was just holding in the waist to head high range where we were this morning. Clean and tidy surfing conditions with the SE Tradey up early. The waves did get a little more consistent when the tide started to push in, even then it was still pretty shallow.
Weather wise it’s been hot and sunny, nothing less.
Ok hang in there and make sure you check out the latest photos and news from the Mentawai Islands thanks to our pals at the Kandui resort. We’ll be heading back out again early tomorrow morning so stay tuned to the original Bali surf report for more news and info through out the morningh. Sorry but where we were today there is no internet available.
Hey and check this link out for some ridiculously cheap deals for Mentawai boat charters and land based camps for the surf adventurer’s
Another important issue for the locals here in Bali especially with winter going down in the Southern Hemisphere and the season for super flu in Australia. Please don’t bring flu’s and virus strains with you on holidays. Make sure you get to the Doctor first before getting on the plane and infecting all the passengers and then maybe infecting everyone you come in contact with here in Bali. You wouldn’t go to work with the Flu so don’t bring it to Bali please.
