Hello peeps and welcome back to the baliwaves (keeping you in the loop with Bali since back in 1999) for the start of another surfing week and our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the World’s No.1 tropical surfing holiday island of Bali.
And what a week it is shaping up to be, this morning our 6.45AM surf check on the Outer Reefs here in Tuban was showing wave height to be holding in the 2-4ft range between Kuta Reef and Airport Left. The tide was pretty low and still dropping but there were some nice looking waves on Middle Reef without any crew on it at the time Surfing conditions were clean and tidy with just a light off shore ESE breeze.
But as it shows in today’s photo gallery we back tracked down to the Southern end of the island to one of our favorite locations. It was nice to pull up on the cliffs for a surf check and see 3-4 footers racing down the reef and only 4 surfers in the water. Surfing conditions were clean with the SE Trade Wind just kicking in at 9.00AM. The waves only got better after the tide bottomed out and starting to push in but there were some long lulls between the set waves. Nice and un crowded for a couple of hours but as the tide started to fill in the usual crew of learner surfers started to fill in the gaps in the line up. All in all another top day in Bali.
Weather wise it’s been a mostly hot and sunny day here on the West Coast and I didn’t hear any complaints from anyone.
Ok that’s me I’m bailing out for now, but make sure you tune in again tomorrow causw we are going to be back out there somewhere scoring more perfect waves.

Alright then I would like to give warning to all the parents that are bringing their toddlers to Bali and want to stay in the perfect villa set up. Just a few days back there was a tragic drowning of an Australian 3yr old here in Bali in a villa pool. Please take care as there are no such things as safety fences or gates for kids here in Bali in villa’s. And any parent knows how hard it is to keep track of their little ones every second of the day. So please take this into consideration.
Please don’t leave your common sense at home ok !
Another important issue for the locals here in Bali especially with winter going down in the Southern Hemisphere and the season for super flu in Australia. Please don’t bring flu’s and virus strains with you on holidays. Make sure you get to the Doctor first before getting on the plane and infecting all the passengers and then maybe infecting everyone you come in contact with here in Bali. You wouldn’t go to work with the Flu so don’t bring it to Bali please.
