BALI / INDONESIA
6th – 7th September 2017
Hi folks and welcome back to the baliwaves (bringing you a little bit of Bali since back in 1999) for our latest news and the best possible views on surfing and weather conditions from here on the best value for hard earned tropical surfing holiday dollar destination of Bali.
Ok so what do you think of these latest waves we were into yesterday the 6th, sick or what ! We were over on the East Coast seeing as though the early morning conditions were telling me that was the place to be. As it shows wave height was hitting the double head high range with maybe even a couple of slightly bigger ones on the freak sets. Surfing conditions were right on with a rising tide an light off shore breeze that lasted through until maybe 10.00AM. Stand out tube rider had to be hands down young Ben Benson who was racking up some serious time in the green room.
Weather wise it was hot as mustard over on the black sand beach.
This morning the 7th and right now at 5.25AM it’s time to go bang on a few doors and get back out there for some more waves. Stay tuned for more info and up dates (Twitter and Instagram) through out the day. Sorry about no up dates yesterday I left my phone at home, first time in 20 years, big hurry to get on the road.
I’ve also loaded up a new photo gallery from our friends at Joyo’s G-Land Surf Camp so check that out while your here. And just to let you know there’s plenty of empty beds over there at the moment and a perfect time to get some long perfect lefts. Contact us here at baliwaves and we’ll get you over there with a solid discount.
Another important issue for the locals here in Bali especially with winter going down in the Southern Hemisphere and the season for super flu in Australia. Please don’t bring flu’s and virus strains with you on holidays. Make sure you get to the Doctor first before getting on the plane and infecting all the passengers and then maybe infecting everyone you come in contact with here in Bali. You wouldn’t go to work with the Flu so don’t bring it to Bali please.
